Welcome to Notamu ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Notamu mobile application and services. By accessing or using Notamu, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Definitions

  • "Application" refers to the Notamu mobile application
  • "Content" includes articles, study materials, community posts, and all other materials available on the platform
  • "User" refers to any individual who accesses or uses the Application
  • "Premium Content" refers to content that requires a paid subscription to access

3. User Eligibility

By using Notamu, you confirm that you:

  • Are at least 13 years old
  • Have parental or guardian consent if you are under 18 years old
  • Are a student or educator in Malaysia
  • Will provide accurate and complete information when registering

4. User Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
  • You may not share your account credentials with others

5. Content and Intellectual Property

  • All content provided through Notamu is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights
  • Users may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without permission
  • Premium content is for personal use only and may not be shared
  • User-generated content remains the property of the user, but grants Notamu a license to use and display it

6. Community Guidelines

Users must not:

  • Post content that is defamatory, obscene, or violates any laws
  • Harass, bully, or discriminate against other users
  • Share personal information of other users
  • Post spam or commercial content without permission
  • Impersonate others or create fake accounts

7. Premium Services

  • Premium content requires a valid subscription
  • Subscription fees are non-refundable unless required by law
  • We reserve the right to modify subscription terms with notice
  • Premium content may not be shared or distributed

8. Privacy and Data Protection

We comply with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA) of Malaysia. Our Privacy Policy details how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

9. Limitation of Liability

Notamu is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of data or interruption of service
  • Accuracy of user-generated content
  • Academic performance or results

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes. Continued use of Notamu after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
